The academic conference will focus on Open Youth Work. It will also see the launch of the International journal on Open Youth Work.

The journal has been a result of a strategic partnership funded by Erasmus + involving Norway, UK, Lithuania, Sweden, Iceland and Austria. The journey thus far has included training of youth workers and academics to co-write and peer-review, which has brought them closer to each other, by engaging meaningful debates. The articles contained in the journal are co-written in an attempt to speak of practice and theory at the same time as to shape good practice in youth work throughout Europe.

The conference will be a meeting point for youth work practitioners, policy makers and researchers, it is envisioned that 200 people will have opportunity to participate.
