Art allows youth to challenge their selves and go beyond the boundaries. This means that art can be used as a way for us to challenge our current beliefs, spark new ideas, or generate critical thinking.
Art can inspire youth, by creating alternative visions for the future which makes us elicit new action. Art allows youth to express themselves, by sharing their stories and experiences and allowing others to gain new insights. Moreover, Art is a universal language, youth doesn’t need or any kind of prior experience to create, participate in, or be moved by art.
Art and social inclusion became the main topics of Erasmus+ Youth Exchange which took place in Kyiv this August. Young people from Ukraine, Lithuania, Armenia, Poland, Turkey and Georgia spent a week together debating about the migrant and refugees crisis their countries faced with.
As participants said „The opportunities to talk about differences and similarities gave a chance to find solutions and start work together for the peace and intercultural friendship”
